A Good Day
Today has been a very good day! First the temperature has finally dropped to a manageable level, even had a little rain, so every thing smells good right now, I love the smell after rain!
I went fabric shopping today, so that always makes me happy, I found all the fabrics I need for making next years Moonridge auction quilt! have the pattern sorted that I want to do this time, so getting along there very well. Will not start to make it quite yet, have a couple of other projects in the works before that one gets done, but I do like to get it sorted so I can just get stuck in when the time is right. I still have to sort out which pictures I want to put on it this time.

Only negative part to the day was when I pulled in to fill up the car, been a while since I had done this myself! £87.00 later the car was full that's about $160.00 for you guys in the USA. I thought they said it was coming down in price.

I'm all booked to go to see Garett again in October, & meet up with old & new friends for the week-end, so life is pretty good.

Ouch - £87? My worst fill up to date has been just over £40, but I'm neurotic and never get less than quarter full... if mine had been £87 I'd probably have just keeled over on the spot.

Glad you've got the cooler weather too - what a relief. And not having to drag the watering can round the garden every night... it's the little things in life that make me happy *g*

HOw exciting that you're going to see GM again. Now this would be a darn good day. :) Also nice to hear you're starting the quilt for next year. This years, rocked.

Wow, gas is really expensive there. Not that bad yet in Phoenix, but I'm sure I'll be complaining about it soon enough.

Yeah! it will be nice to have him this side of the pond for a while.

I like to get things sorted out,pattern/colour/fabrics nice and early when I'm making a quilt.

Gas is very expensive here, & I live in one of the cheapest area's of the uk for buying gas.
