Home Again
We are back after our 16 days vacation to the states. Mainly we flew over to see hubby's Mom. She is 94! We knew going in that she probably wouldn't know we were there, and she didn't. But we felt the need to see her for our own piece of mind. She looked good, but not with us at all. One of hubby's sisters flew in as well, so had a good time catching up with her. She always brings me something when ever we're meeting up again. This time she brought me all the fabric and pattern for a quilt. Very English looking, it's all tea cups in really wild colours. Once I get some breathing space, I will have to get it made and post a photo.

We then flew to Dallas to spend some time with my sister.I hadn't seen her for a couple of years. So had a great time catching up, doing some shopping getting out and about in the Dallas area. The weather could of been a little warmer, but it was ok,at least it stayed dry most of the time.

Did way to much fabric shopping. When you have a 3hour drive from home to the nearest fabric shop, and then they can't hold a candle to what you find in the US. I tend to go a little mad.
I have the fabric for a couple of big projects I have planned. Plus! The fabric and pattern for the next Moonridge quilt that will be auctioned in 2009. I think...
Now it's just a matter of getting back into the swing of things at home. I get so lazy while away, when we come home and have to start with all the work it takes to keep things running. Doing the stables always does my back in for a while till it gets used to the heavy lifting again.

At least I didn't put any weight on while away. As a matter of fact I lost 5 pounds Yeah! Must keep up the good work on that, need to loose allot more yet before I feel happy with me again.

You lost five pounds vacationing? I usually pack it on like whoa! Glad you are home safe, but that stables pain does not sound like fun. Horses keep you hopping and lifting, though. It'll keep you young! Cannot wait to see your new projects, the teacup quilt sounds a treat!

Hugs you Chris! Hope you are doing well..Yeah! My sister is always very careful what she eats, I feel guilty if I eat too much around her. But it's good for me I guess..
All the new fabric is wonderful. The teacups are very bright, will look great when I get it done. All I need is time.
Take Care...

Thanks Patt! I came across the fabric's and a pattern that I can adapt to carry photo's so I grabbed it. I am always looking for ones I can adapt for photo's. I was just lucky. I think it will look really good once I have it made. But sorry, you will have to wait a little while before that happens.
