Still trying to get back into lj and catch up on all the reading I have missed. Thought I would post a couple of photos. My gardener always want to clear up the fallen leaves, myself I love to see them at least for a while.

We are having a glorious morning today. We woke up with a hard frost, now it's so clear and sunny. Mornings like this really makes you want to go somewhere for a nice long walk, I'd like to go to the Wash, and have a walk on the sea wall. Maybe later once we have a little more done in the house. Have now redecorated my Mom's bedroom, I gave all her furniture to my Niece as I wanted to move my king size bed into her room and take the room it was in for my sewing room, as it's so much bigger than where it is now.
Have the bedroom furniture moved, now it’s just a case of moving all the stuff from my sewing into the room next door, plus I can have a good sort out as well. Quilting takes up so much room…

Lovely photos, thank you - the countryside there reminds me of France somehow. Beautiful, and very different from where I am.

::hugs::

I like it! It's not called Holland county for nothing, it's so flat. But you can see for miles..

We had a mega-hard frost last night

It was gorgeous, a really clear night, crisp and cold. It lasted into the morning but it's raining again now.

Lancashire. ::sigh::

Re: We had a mega-hard frost last night

You get so much more rain than we do, haven't had any for a couple of days. Our weather now at 13:45 is still no clouds and sunny, but so cold.

It looks like you live in a beautiful place. A change in seasons and falling leaves blanketing the ground is something I never get to experience. I do however love this time of year when the Jacaranda blooms with the most gorgeous shade of purple. It brings a strangely comforting feeling against the backdrop of a looming tropical storm.

Part's of Lincolnshire are very pretty. We are lucky living with no neighbours for 1/2 a mile, we get very panaramic views. I love this time of year can't beat fall colours I don't think. I missed fall very much when we were living in Saudi.. But those Jacaranda tree's are wonderful, nothing like that here..

Lovely photos Janet.
We have had a lot of high winds and rain up here in Glasgow. *Sigh* The temperature has dropped but feels colder with the wind chill factor.

Thank you for sharing.

We had the high winds last week with quite allot of rain. This week it's just been very cold but sunny.
