where she has Blair eating 'Crab Puff's' and I had just made these on New Years Eve and taken to my sisters for the party she was having...
When we lived in Saudi in the 70's, not too much in the way of American/English food was about to buy. So it was great when in 1972 the 'Ras Tanura women's group' this was the name of the camp I lived on, put out a recipe book using what was available at the camp commissary. All entertaining was done at home, so was good to have this book showing what we could make. These were called
6 English Muffins
1 Cup. Ripe Olives (chopped)
1/2 cup. Onion (grated)
11/2 cup's Cheddar Cheese (grated)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp Curry Powder
Small can Crab Meat (drained)
Slice Muffins and toast lightly. Combine remaining ingredients. Spread on the muffins. Place under the grill again until the cheese melts and is golden brown.
These are great with a salad as a meal, or cut into bite size pieces as finger food for a party.
