A BEAUTIFUL MESSAGE ABOUT

GROWING OLD

Bugger ...

I've forgotten what it was....

I wanted to pop in and say Thank You to krossero and slipperieslope for my Snowflake cookies such a nice surprise. Thank You again..

I know I have been away from lj for a while. RL has gotten me big time the past couple of months.
I was away on vacation for a couple of weeks, once I got back I hit the floor running. I haven't stopped yet. Very busy trying to get a quilt finished someone asked me to make for them as a Christmas gift. Having hurt my neck and back pretty bad. I can only sew or sit at the computer for very short periods at a time, hurts way too much to push it.
I have had a very sick horse, where I was nearly sleeping out in the stables with her for a couple of nights. But after a long time of being sick she is doing much better. Will never be 100% as she has Cushings but she is better.

I am keeping up with all on lj. Just not for now, doing much talking.

whatever have you done to yourself??? Lets see.. I had 40 bales of hay delivered which needed unloading. God! those things are heavy. The same day 15 bales of shavings, once again heavy, and hard to pick up.
Twisted wrong and put something out in my neck and between my shoulder blades. Tweaked an old riding injury. I am getting there but it's slow going.

Hey Ande! Yeah after my excelent nursing Dora is back to her old self again. She was pretty sick for a while, running a 105 temp that took some getting down.
I'm on the mend as well, just can't push sitting at the computer for to long.

I'm sorry your neck and back are still giving you such grief! Might a chiropracter or therapeutic massage help? I've found both helpful to ease muscle pain and aching of neck and back.

::hugs::

I am ok as long as I don't over stay at either the computer or the sewing machine.. I think I will go and have some massage to get things really loose again, I am fed up with this.

*hugs* It's good to see you! Sorry to hear about your horse, although I'm glad she's better, but that's rotten about your neck and back! Yikes - take care of yourself!

I have just tweaked an old riding injury, by doing stuff no one over 40 should do. When you have a horse there is allot of heavy lifting. I moved wrong while lifting a bale of hay, put something out again in my neck and between my shoulder blades.
My horse is doing fine now. She is old bless her, well in her 30's..
I am on the mend... Thanks Jen.

Cushings! I did not know that horses could get it! My sister's dog had it and it was a struggle. Horses digestive systems are so finicky and can go wrong so quickly, I cannot imagine.

((hugs))

I am glad she is better.

Cushings, is quite common in horses. She was running a 105 fever for a few days, it took some getting down..Then I had to watch for collic, that was why I was nearly sleeping in the stable for a couple of nights. But she is fine again now.
Thank you.
