Saw Avatar 3D - Scraps & Stitches
Saw Avatar 3D
last night with my Nephew. We are the only two in the family who love these sort of film's. I have never known 3 hours go by so fast. Once it was finished I could of stayed and watched it all again, but for the fact it was now midnight and we had a 25 mile drive home. Great movie and one to buy I think.

I loved it, too, and really want to see it again. Some years, it feels like there aren't any movies worth paying to see but this year there are too many! I still have to get to Sherlock Holmes, Invictus, and now the new Harrison Ford movie is out. Then there are the ones like Princess and the Frog that got great reviews; and I usually try to see Hugh Grant's movies. LOL, an over abundance of choice this year! (I've already sldo seen Blindsided and It's Complicated!)

I want to see SH as well but will wait till it's out on DVD I think, it's so expensive to go to the movies over here.
What new movie does Harrison Ford have out? haven't heard about this one. Hugh Grant is a must see.

Harrison Ford is in Extraordinary Measures, which opened here this weekend. It's based on a true story about a scientist (Ford) who helps a father find a treatment to save the lives of his two children who have a rare disease. And I see Book of Eli with Denzel Washington also opened this week. I'm going to have to go live at a theatre for a day and just go from one to another movie. But, yeah, it's expensive here, too, though not as bad as there -- nowhere is as expensive as the UK. At least, not in my experience.

Book of Eli with Denzel Washington. Another one I haven't heard about, I must try and keep up. I really like Denzel as well, he has made some really good films. When Martin and I did the Avatar movie the other night it cost $38 for both of us to get in. Way to much money..

Whoa, that is a lot of money, and I presume you got a seniors' rate. Cost us $24 to get into a matinee, and it would have been $30 I think at night. But that was at a 3D IMAX. Would have been closer to #20 and $24 for a regular theatre, and then the 'snacks' would have been another twelve to fifteen dollars. Going to the movies is no longer an inexpensive entertainment!

Love, M.
