Mother Earth as I have never seen her before - Scraps & Stitches
Mother Earth as I have never seen her before
I have just finished watching the new DVD called 'Home'... What a beautiful, scarey documantary about our home plant this is. If nothing else use the link and watch the small video on that page.

DVD Description
Yann Arthus-Bertrand, famous for The Earth From Above, a photographic portrait of aerial shots of our planet, takes us on a sensational journey above 50 countries as seen from the sky and provides us with an unusual portrait of our Home. Planet Earth is critically ill but another future is possible if we all decide to write it together.

Narrated by Glenn Close

The whole DVD is that way. If you get the chance rent it and watch the whole thing. I love these type of tv shows, but this takes you to places I never knew about....

Thanks, Janet. I've just left a complaint with amazon.ca because the dvd isn't available to us, even though amazon in the US and in the UK have it. (It's an issue of customs clearnance and paying duty and currency exchange -- if it's available in any amazon, it should be available here, too!) If I can't get it here, I'll order it from the US amazon when I head south in the fall. I have the planet earth series, though. Also spectacular.
